However, both parties' agencies are showing a cautious attitude. Lee Dong-gun's agency, W Plus, stated, 'It's difficult to confirm as it's a personal matter,' while Kang Hae-rim's agency, Andmark, also noted, 'We cannot confirm as it's the actress's private life.'
Lee Dong-gun married fellow actress Jo Yoon-hee in September 2017 but divorced by agreement in May 2020, about three years later. The couple has one daughter, who is currently in Jo Yoon-hee's custody.
