ILLIT made a surprise comeback teaser at the 2025 Weverse Con Festival, sparking explosive cheers from global fans.
ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) showcased a total of six songs at the 2025 Weverse Con Festival (2025 Weverse Con Festival, hereafter dubbed WeConFe), held on the 31st of last month at Incheon Inspire Entertainment Resort.
As soon as ILLIT took the stage, the venue was filled with cheering audiences. With the upbeat stage of 'Tick-Tack' from their second mini-album, they quickly elevated the atmosphere, and then showcased their charming appeal with 'IYKYK (If You Know You Know)' and 'I'll Like You,' raising fans' heart rates. ILLIT noted, "This is our second time performing at WeConFe. Last year, I was so nervous and jittery, but this year, I felt a bit more relaxed," and added, "Since so many people were cheering us on, we could enjoy the stage more. Thank you."
ILLIT's upgraded live performance skills and stage manners stood out. The members constantly thrilled the audience with their catchy ILLIT-style music and energetic performances, including 'Magnetic' and 'Cherish (My Love).' When Wonhee brilliantly hit a high note during the performance of 'Almond Chocolate (Korean Ver.),' cheers erupted throughout the venue. The communication between the members, making eye contact with the audience, also shone bright.
The highlight of the day was the spoiler for the comeback of their third mini-album 'bomb.' ILLIT revealed the point choreography of the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' and hinted, "Please wait a little to find out what this choreography is. We ask for your great expectations for our new look." After the final stage, as the lights went out and a comeback teaser showing the mysterious silhouettes of the five members was unexpectedly unveiled, the reactions exploded both at the venue and in the online live comment section.
Additionally, ILLIT showcased a different side during a cover performance of BoA's debut song 'ID; Peace B,' the star of this year's tribute stage at WeConFe. They perfectly re-created the long straight hair styling and costumes of 'ID; Peace B,' receiving enthusiastic responses. Furthermore, with their sharp dance lines and powerful vocal ad-libs, they preserved the essence of the original song, proving their broad spectrum.
Meanwhile, ILLIT's third mini-album 'bomb' will be released on the 16th. Prior to that, they will meet fans at their first fan concert '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL,' held on the 7th and 8th at Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
