Pak Se-ri has opened a multifaceted cultural space.
On May 31, the MBC entertainment program "Omniscient Interfering View" featured Pak Se-ri and Hyo-min.
Pak Se-ri revealed her new office. The staff explained, "A package arrived from the U.S. National Baseball Hall of Fame. It seems that the items belonging to the head coach were sent to him during the transfer."
Pak Se-ri explained, "There is a personal locker in the Hall of Fame, and you can put whatever you want in it. There are conditions for entering the Hall of Fame. I only took 7 years to meet those requirements." She added, "Wherever you go in the world, those who have been inducted receive that much respect. Honor is of the utmost importance. Once you are inducted, you are recognized to that extent, and you are also taken care of along with your companions."
Pak Se-ri opened the package and took out the trophies that kept coming out, reminiscing about the past. The staff mentioned that seeing her past photos made them realize how slim she used to be, and Pak Se-ri proudly stated, "I was a 24-inch waist."
Afterward, Pak Se-ri headed to Yongin for the center's opening ceremony. She shared her thoughts, saying, "It took time to put plans into action, and this year marks the 5th year since starting the company. This is the first and biggest step I want to take. It doesn't feel real." The SERI PAK with Yongin, which Pak Se-ri poured her heart into, is equipped with various facilities, such as a spacious gym, a café, a merchandise shop, a virtual sports experience room, a book café, a Pak Se-ri golf exhibition hall, and community spaces, fitting its designation as a multifaceted cultural space.
Pak Se-ri explained, "I will connect with local schools to educate about physical activities and find elites within that framework. Various sports academies will be created. Culturally, there will be exhibitions, performances, and lectures. This will create a space where various activities can take place."
The staff noted that particular attention was given to the café, stating, "There are devices worth hundreds of millions of won. The coffee machine is a product not found in Korea. It is a machine imported directly from the Italian headquarters. There is also an expensive oven."
To celebrate the opening ceremony, over 400 athletes, celebrities, and dignitaries gathered. Standing before the crowd, Pak Se-ri delivered her greeting with a trembling voice.
