Actor Yoon Si-yoon revealed his sincerity about studying English. On 'My Little Old Boy,' he candidly shared his lifestyle habits that distance himself from dopamine stimulation, along with the reason he went to the Philippines for language study.
The episode aired on the 1st on SBS 'My Little Old Boy,' where Yoon Si-yoon's unmatched self-management routine continued.
He stated, "There is a behavior I always do before going to bed," and revealed his routine of completely organizing the kitchen. The dishes were all hidden, and the kitchen was so tidy that it seemed as if there were no traces of use. When asked if he was influenced by his time in the military, Yoon Si-yoon responded, "During my time in the Marine Corps, I felt joy when organizing personal belongings. That was healing," eliciting laughter.
The reason Yoon Si-yoon hurriedly got up during a meal was because of his online English class. After returning from language study in the Philippines last year, he shared, "At one point, I received a nonsensical English textbook from my mom, and on the show, she said, 'You can't speak English.' I felt so pathetic after seeing that."
He continued, "Even though there were many tasks to be done with foreign staff on set, I was completely unprepared," and confessed, "I felt ashamed and regretful for being lazy. I missed out on so many opportunities because of the language." He added, "I believe someday an opportunity will come again, and I decided I must prepare for the language at all costs."
His living room library was filled with English books, and studying English naturally became part of his daily routine. The MCs were also impressed by Yoon Si-yoon's relentless self-discipline in blocking dopamine stimulation and in the midst of rules and self-reflection.
Yoon Si-yoon, who first revealed his daily life through 'My Little Old Boy,' left a strong impression by demonstrating not only his thorough organization habits but also his human side dedicated to self-development.
