ILLIT member Wonhee will participate in her first professional baseball pitch since debut.
According to Belift Lab on the 1st, Wonhee will participate in the 'Dream of Ground Series' home three-game series against the Lotte Giants and SSG Landers, which will be held at 5 p.m. at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium. Wonhee has been selected as a special pitcher wishing for a Lotte Giants victory and will take the mound.
Wonhee said through her agency, "It is an honor to throw my first pitch in Busan, my parents' hometown. It is especially meaningful since my father is a fan of the Lotte Giants. I am nervous, but because it is a special experience, I will share good energy and hope the players do not get injured and win."
Wonhee's group, ILLIT, will make a comeback on the 16th with its mini album 'bomb.' The title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' is based on the French house genre, embodying the excitement of a first date. A previously released title snippet video raised fans' expectations by revealing some addictive melodies and concepts.
Prior to their comeback, ILLIT will meet fans through various stages. They appeared at the '2025 Weverse Con Festival' held at the Incheon Inspire Entertainment Resort the day before (May 31), heating up the scene with energetic music and performances. A surprise comeback teaser featuring the silhouettes of the five members drew explosive reactions from fans.
ILLIT will host their first fan concert, '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL,' at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, on the 7th and 8th, where they will create special memories with fans. They demonstrated remarkable ticket power by selling out both shows through advance booking alone.
