Lee Mi-joo and Park Jin-joo finished their last broadcast as they departed from the program 'Hangout with Yoo?'.
The last broadcast before Park Jin-joo and Lee Mi-joo's departure was aired on the MBC entertainment program 'Hangout with Yoo?' on the 31st.
The production team prepared a three-hour limited culinary tour to treat Park Jin-joo and Lee Mi-joo. If they succeeded in visiting three restaurants within three hours, the 'Juju Sisters' would be given the 'golden rice' that they had failed to obtain in the past. This gold rice was prepared a year ago and the production team noted, "It would cost about 2 million won at current prices," which generated surprise.
The first mission was group jump rope. The highest record for group jump rope in the history of 'Hangout with Yoo?' was 18. They had consistently attempted to surpass this but had failed. If they exceeded the highest record of 20, they could move on immediately, but failing would mean a deduction of 30 minutes.
Upon hearing the suggestion, Park Jin-joo lamented, "I have trauma from that." In reality, Park Jin-joo had previously failed in the group jump rope due to stamina issues.
However, it was different during the final recording. They succeeded on the first attempt with great effort. Exhausted, Park Jin-joo managed to achieve the group jump rope record of 20 but even ended up feeling nauseous. Lee Yi-kyung remarked, "It seems like your stamina has improved since doing musicals," and Park Jin-joo responded joyfully, "I think I've grown up."
It was not easy once they arrived at the restaurant. The first restaurant had a mission called '30 seconds of taste.' They had to quickly fill their plates with food from the rotating buffet in just 30 seconds. Yoo Jae-suk even shouted 'Stop' towards the machine to scoop up the pork. The members, who barely managed to fill their plates, were satisfied with their news about the upcoming restaurants. Additionally, Joo Woo-jae mentioned, "I need to let Gwang-jae know," referring to the family-like guests of 'Hangout with Yoo?'.
The second restaurant was a traditional Ethiopian restaurant in Itaewon. They had to order the exact menu based on photos alone. After numerous trials and ordering 12 items, the members succeeded in the mission. Finally, they arrived at a place that served dessert. There was a reinterpretation of the Swedish traditional dessert Smörgåstårta, known as a sandwich cake. Although they had only 5 minutes left, it was enough to share it among the six.
As a reward for their successful mission, golden rice was given to Park Jin-joo and Lee Mi-joo. However, Joo Woo-jae intervened, saying, "You take it," and gave his share to Park Jin-joo. Yoo Jae-suk also handed his share to Lee Mi-joo, and Lee Yi-kyung passed the gold rice to Park Jin-joo. Finally, Haha pretended to hesitate before handing it over to Lee Mi-joo, referring to it as 'the weight of a head of household.'
In the end, Yoo Jae-suk expressed his bittersweet feelings, saying, "Although we recorded while laughing, I was very worried as it was the day when Mi-joo and Jin-joo, who have been with us for a long time, finished their last recording. Still, we recorded without showing any signs of it, laughing together, so that's how I feel." Lee Mi-joo responded, "I didn't think about it being the last, it was so much fun," and Park Jin-joo said, "This is not a permanent farewell. We will be under the same sky," leaving behind a continued 'pearl sound' that brought more laughter. Above all, Lee Mi-joo added, "I will come back after having four kids," showcasing her spicy humor in her 30s.
