In the episode of TV Chosun's entertainment show "Our Baby Has Arrived" aired on the 30th, Son Dam-bi's preparations for hospitalization before childbirth and her appearances before heading to the hospital were depicted.
That day, Son Dam-bi gathered at home with her husband Lee Gyu-hyeok and her mother to complete preparations for childbirth, and she was nervous due to her age of 41 and a diagnosis of complete placenta previa. As there was a possibility of preterm labor, she had stopped exercising and had been resting, saying, "I tried not to get stressed," she shared about her cautious pregnancy experience.
In particular, Son Dam-bi cautiously shared her reasons for being skeptical about marriage and pregnancy. "In fact, my mother and father did not have a good relationship. My mother said she was unhappy even when I was in her womb," she revealed, adding, "So marriage was a question mark for me, and I hated the idea of having a child even more."
However, her thoughts changed after meeting Lee Gyu-hyeok. Son Dam-bi said, "I felt I could rely on someone like him. I thought I could raise a child who looks like my husband," sharing the reasons she decided to try in-vitro fertilization. "The entire process of marriage and pregnancy was stable thanks to my husband. Truly, it was all thanks to him," she expressed her gratitude.
Lee Gyu-hyeok also noted, "I originally had no thoughts about having a child. But being with Dam-bi made me feel like having a baby could be a way to be happier." At the hospital, two hours before childbirth, Son Dam-bi expressed, "I hope it goes well," displaying a nervous demeanor. Lee Gyu-hyeok reassured her, saying, "It's going to be okay.
