The global girl group KATSEYE, formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, has continued its momentum by ranking on the UK Official Main Single Chart for a month.
According to the UK Official Chart released on the 30th (local time), KATSEYE's digital single 'Gnarly' ranked 81st on the latest 'Official Single Top 100' (for the period of May 30 to June 5). This marks a jump of 9 spots from the previous week, making it chart for four consecutive weeks.
KATSEYE's success continues on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. 'Gnarly' secured the 46th position in the 'Weekly Top Song Global' (for the period of May 23 to 29), maintaining its personal best ranking for three weeks.
KATSEYE's momentum has been evident on the U.S. Billboard charts as well. After debuting at 92nd on the Main Song Chart 'Hot 100,' 'Gnarly' settled at 32nd and 53rd on the Billboard 'Global (excluding U.S.)' and 'Global 200' charts for the issue date of May 31, respectively, consistently gaining popularity.
Through the bold sound and striking performance of 'Gnarly,' KATSEYE has heightened expectations for their second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,' set to be released on June 27. The album will include a total of five tracks, including 'Gnarly,' 'Gabriela,' 'Gameboy,' 'Mean Girls,' and 'M.I.A.'
In a recently released tracklist video, KATSEYE previewed a powerful comeback scene by violently smashing monitors, vases, and cars. Previously, KATSEYE noted that 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' would be a work that clearly shows who we are as a group and how we are moving forward.
