Actor Jin Tae-hyun, who is battling thyroid cancer, revealed his recent milestone of surpassing 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
On the 30th, Jin Tae-hyun shared a photo on his personal social media showcasing the moment when he and his wife, Park Si-eun, reached 100,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel "Little Television", which now has 100,057 subscribers. Along with this, he added a short caption saying "100,000 YouTuber", receiving congratulations for consistently posting videos on the channel.
Additionally, he shared a photo of his wife, Park Si-eun, who is currently in New York, capturing her cooking in the kitchen of their accommodation. Jin Tae-hyun expressed his deep gratitude, saying, "My wife struggles with the time difference, yet she wakes up early at 10 p.m. Korean time to prepare breakfast. Even here, she continues to cook for me. It's tiring and difficult, but she always thinks of me first. She truly brings love into my life."
Jin Tae-hyun stated, "Love is not that complicated. If you think of others before yourself and hide your own needs, it does not hinder love. In terms of love and the sacrifices couples make, it's okay for our ego to take a backseat. Our pride and self-esteem can be applied elsewhere. When it comes to expressing affection and communicating, do not hold back; express more and be grateful every day. Love every day. Then not only will the recipient be happy, but I, too, will be incredibly happy speaking these words." He emphasized, "Let us not be those who treat others well but are ignorant of what is mine. The most precious thing I have is my wife."
Finally, he added, "Although my body is a bit uncomfortable and it is not a severe illness, I try to live each day as if it were my last. I have gained an understanding of gratitude through my illness. I have always lived with gratitude, but each day spent with my wife feels like a miracle and is incomparable in terms of thankfulness."
Jin Tae-hyun married fellow actor Park Si-eun in 2015. The couple has adopted a daughter named Park Da-bi, and they were expecting a second child but sadly lost the baby just 20 days before the due date. Additionally, it is reported that they are currently supporting two more daughters like family, apart from the legal adoption procedures. Jin Tae-hyun is currently diagnosed with early-stage thyroid cancer and is awaiting surgery.
