NCT member Yuta (affiliated with SME) will serve as a special first pitcher at a Japanese professional baseball game.
Yuta will take the mound as the special first pitcher for the match between the Orix Buffaloes and Saitama Seibu Lions on June 1 at 4 p.m. at Hotomoto Field Kobe in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, to wish for the victory of the Orix Buffaloes.
Particularly, this match is significant as it will take place alongside the event "#consolidation, Korea KOREA DAY" organized by the Korea Tourism Organization to promote tourism to Korea, making Yuta's selection as the special first pitcher even more meaningful as he is a member of NCT who is originally from Japan but is active globally based in Korea.
Previously, Yuta served as a first pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers in a Major League game against San Diego at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in 2019 alongside NCT 127 members. Now, he will also step onto the Japanese professional baseball stage, continuing his journey as a global star.
Yuta will also appear on various music programs, including "Music Station" on TV Asahi on June 6 and "Chouonpa" on TV Tokyo on June 13, to perform his new song from the Japanese single "TWISTED PARADISE," which was released on May 14.
Yuta's Japanese single "TWISTED PARADISE" consists of a total of four songs, including the title track, and has achieved various successes including ranking #1 on the Japanese Oricon rock single chart for two consecutive weeks and reaching the top five in a total of 13 regions, including #1 on the iTunes top album chart in eight regions.
