Woo Ji-won appeared in 'The Director's Hater' (Directed by Hyun Sol-ip / Screenplay by Kim Dam) as the director of the team Ait, teaming up with Park Sung-woong.
'The Director's Hater' is a work that depicts a two-man game comedy about professional basketball coach Maeng Gong, who finds himself at risk of being ousted due to poor performance, as he joins forces with his hater Hwa Jin for the team's performance. It was produced based on a script that won the grand prize at the 2024 MBC screenplay competition.
Woo Ji-won played the role of the basketball coach of Ait in the drama, showcasing a professional image and marking a stepping stone as an actor. Additionally, the vibrant charm of the young director and the rookie writer helped bring the characters to life, creating a drama that elicited laughter.
