Home Alone's Yoo Seung-jae prepared his first home in 14 years since his debut and revealed it for the first time on air.
On the 30th, the MBC entertainment show Home Alone featured Yoo Seung-jae's daily life in a cave house.
On this day, Yoo Seung-jae, who has been living alone for 8 years, noted, "It's a blackout house. The color of my heart is black. It's very dark, right?" Code Kunst responded, "Then you need to get a health check-up."
Yoo Seung-jae explained his reason for the darkness, saying, "I often finish work late and sleep in the morning, so I've liked keeping it dark since a long time ago. Instead of just darkening it, I thought, let's decorate the house darkly, so it's like a dark, gloomy Batcave."
The house interior was completely black. Not only the furniture but also the storage and appliances were all provided in black. The only exception was the toilet in the bathroom. Regarding this, Yoo Seung-jae expressed his regret, saying, "There is a black toilet, but the interior designer said I might get infected with bacteria, so I gave up."
Then Kian84 asked, "Are your underwear black too?" Yoo Seung-jae looked immediately into his pants to check the color of his underwear.
The surprised Jun Hyun-moo exclaimed, "Are you out of your mind?" Meanwhile, Im Woo-il, who was watching inside Yoo Seung-jae's pants, confirmed, "It's black." Code Kunst also chimed in, saying, "There's something slightly different from black." To this, Yoo Seung-jae concluded, "It's pearl black," bringing laughter.
He usually lives in darkness and, despite it being broad daylight, turned on the lights and ordered pork cutlet for lunch. He then pulled out a black fire extinguisher, stating he wanted to have all his props in black.
Yoo Seung-jae stated, "The interior started while I was filming a drama. I didn't have time to check it, so it's actually been 4 months since I moved into this house. Since I had a black interior, I developed the desire to match all the props in black."
The fire extinguisher he pulled out, however, was khaki, not black. After feeling disappointed with the interior, he took out a black wall clock he had ordered second.
Later, in order to hang the wall clock, Yoo Seung-jae went out into the streets of Seongsu-dong. He mentioned, "In front of our house is Seongsu-dong," as he sought a store specializing in workwear. With the staff's help, he selected an electric drill and additionally purchased a reflective vest, noise-canceling headphones, and safety glasses.
After returning home, Yoo Seung-jae confidently operated the electric drill, but was flustered when the screw slipped. He thought it was a wooden wall but found out it was drywall. Eventually, with the help of his father, who had worked in construction, he successfully hung the wall clock.
