The music video for 'TT,' the title track from their mini album 'TWICEcoaster: LANE 1' released in October 2016, surpassed 700 million views around 2:45 p.m. on the 29th. JYP Entertainment posted a congratulatory image on TWICE's official social media channel, responding to the generous support from fans worldwide.
'TT' expresses the feelings of a girl in love for the first time with trendy lyrics, capturing the hearts of fans with TWICE's unique adorable charm. The 'TT' pose, which symbolizes tears with fingers, and the cute gesture in the 'so unfair, so unfair' part sparked great interest and drew enthusiastic reactions from fans both domestically and internationally.
With this, TWICE has created its second music video to reach 700 million views after the title track 'What is Love?' from their fifth mini album. Moreover, they have elevated a total of 24 music videos to the hundreds of millions views threshold, including 18 promotional songs from 'OOH-AHH하게' to 'SET ME FREE', four Japanese releases, and two English singles. This sets a record for the most music videos with over 100 million views among female groups worldwide, highlighting TWICE's immense global popularity.
TWICE will release their new regular album 'THIS IS FOR' on July 11, marking their comeback after approximately three years and eight months. Alongside the album release, they will headline the large-scale music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, on August 2, local time, showcasing their status as 'stadium artists'.
