Singer and actress as well as art entertainer Lee Hye-young showcased her distinctive sense of light and color through her seventh solo exhibition '해사(解紗): Unveiling Lightness,' once again demonstrating her presence as an artist.
This exhibition, held at Gallery STAN in Gangnam, Seoul, runs until June 15 and is Lee Hye-young's seventh solo exhibition. Through the works in this exhibition, she captures the fleeting moment when a person's emotions and memories spread out like light, following the threads of lightness and clarity that have permeated her inner self. By boldly using primary colors such as red and blue, she was able to capture the attention of the audience.
Lee Hye-young is an artist who continuously reconfigures herself by experimenting and transforming through her journey, infusing her unique senses and experiences into her works. Her works, which delicately express personal memories, wounds, love, and hope, serve as small lights that brightly illuminate moments of life for the audience, further providing quiet comfort and a refreshing sense that has been forgotten.
With a total of seven solo exhibitions, Lee Hye-young is attracting attention by steadily presenting works interpreted and expressed through her unique perspective and exceptional senses.
