Actor Kim Ui-sung encouraged early voting in the presidential election.
Kim Ui-sung posted a message on his Instagram account on the 29th saying, "I just got back to Korea after finishing a two-week shoot in Japan. Unfortunately, I missed the early voting on the first day, but I will rush to the polling station as soon as it's light out tomorrow." He also shared a video of himself driving on the road.
He noted, "This vote is the most serious in my 60 years of life. I feel an intense excitement about throwing a crucial vote to judge the past of constitutional violations, overcome the distressing reality, and open a hopeful future. What is the future of our community that you dream of? Whatever that dream is, let's vote for it."
Kim Ui-sung previously posted a short message on Twitter saying, "I am happy" when former President Park Geun-hye's impeachment bill was passed in 2016. Last December, when then-President Yoon Suk-yeol's second impeachment bill was passed, he commented on social media saying, "Delicious democracy."
