Fans asked the couple about their three sons, whose situations they disclosed during the Channel A entertainment show "My Precious Child" (abbreviated as My Precious). Lee married his wife, who is 11 years younger, in 2017 and they have three sons together. In particular, during an appearance on "My Precious," he garnered attention after his eldest son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder by Dr. Oh Eun-young.
In the midst of this, Lee and his wife said, "The kids are improving a lot. Thank you for your support; it gives me energy and my husband energy, and the kids seem to be feeling it too, trying to talk more. They're getting a lot better." They added, "After the show, my wife has become much brighter."
In particular, Lee's wife expressed gratitude, saying, "My husband helps a lot. We are parenting together. He really loves the kids. Since he married late, the kids we've been waiting for were very much desired. However, the move to Seoul mentioned on the show is not being realized immediately. At that time, Lee had revealed his plans to move to Seoul for his eldest son. They are still living as a weekend couple in Miryang, Gyeongnam, Lee's hometown.
Above all, Lee's wife stated, "We are preparing for the move to Seoul, but we are still looking into schools for our eldest. The special education classes are too crowded. There are a lot of students. I think it might be better for him to continue attending school comfortably in the countryside until elementary school." She expressed gratitude for the interest from those around them.
