Actress Kim Nam-joo publicly revealed her children's faces for the first time on television, sharing her special feelings as a mother.
On 29th, during the first broadcast of the SBS Life new variety show 'Queen of Insight Kim Nam-joo,' Kim Nam-joo shared memories of her children that she has cherished. During the broadcast, Kim Nam-joo confessed that her life as a mother was happier than being an actress, revealing her affectionate feelings towards her children, which resonated with the viewers.
Kim Nam-joo said, "What I value most in this house is not the trophies or the dresses," and she shared, "I married in 2005 and gave birth to my first child, Ra-hee, and my second son in 2008. I am a 200-point mother," which brought tears to her eyes. She expressed, "Anyway, my life as a mother has been truly happy compared to being an actress," conveying a deep sentiment.
Kim Nam-joo proceeded to introduce baby items of her daughter Ra-hee that she has kept for 20 years. Inside the box were items such as a baby gown, small shoes, and baby blankets, carefully kept as her daughter grew up. Kim Nam-joo stated, "It was my dream to pass down these kinds of things when I had a daughter. That's why I have kept them until now," feeling touched.
What caught the attention most was the childhood photo of her daughter Ra-hee, revealed for the first time on broadcast. Kim Nam-joo laughed, saying, "I think this was when she was 5 years old. Doesn't she not resemble me?" She added, "She resembles her older brother Seung-woo in her eyes, but now she looks like a mix of the two of us."
When the production crew joked about her daughter's fashion in the photo, saying, "Isn't that a scarf GD frequently wears?" Kim Nam-joo playfully responded, "Our Ra-hee is the original, you know?" bringing warmth to the filming set.
