ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun-woo has passed the Army military band and will fulfill his duty of defense starting in July.
According to OSEN on the 29th, Cha Eun-woo was included among the successful candidates announced by the Military Manpower Administration this morning. Accordingly, Cha Eun-woo's enlistment has been confirmed for July 28th.
Earlier, news of Cha Eun-woo's military band interview was reported on the 9th. At that time, a representative from Fantagio stated to OSEN that "Cha Eun-woo applied for the Army military band and took the interview. The results have not yet been announced, so he is waiting for the outcome."
In addition, the representative explained, "The application for the Army military band was submitted at the end of March. He underwent the interview according to the procedures, and I understand that the results will be announced on the 29th. If he passes, I do not yet know the specific date, but I understand he is to enlist sometime in July."
After waiting, news of Cha Eun-woo's acceptance into the military band was heard, thereby making him the second member of ASTRO to enlist.
Meanwhile, Cha Eun-woo is currently known to be actively filming the new Netflix series "The Wonderfulls." He will participate in ASTRO's fourth solo concert, "The 4th ASTROAD [Stargraphy]," held at Incheon Inspire Arena on June 7th and 8th.
