BBGIRLS returns today with a new version of "Hope" after 35 years.
The group BBGIRLS (Min-young, Eun-ji, Yu-na) will release a remake single "Hope" at 6 p.m. on the 29th through various online music sites.
"Hope" is a remake of singer Byeon Jin-seob's representative song released in 1989, reinterpreted with BBGIRLS' own emotion. BBGIRLS participated in the lyrics adaptation, wittily unfolding their cheerful yet romantic inner thoughts. Notably, the original artist Byeon Jin-seob made a surprise featuring, enhancing the overall quality.
Additionally, BBGIRLS aims to provide a nostalgic emotion to the generation that remembers the original song, and a fresh retro vibe to the MZ generation through "Hope." They are determined to evoke a sense of empathy across all generations through a synergistic collaboration that transcends times with Byeon Jin-seob.
Ahead of their first official fan meeting "Missing File 0803," BBGIRLS is receiving attention by announcing the remake audio as a surprise gift for their fandom, called "Pui." Expectations are high for what BBGIRLS' version of "Hope" will look like.
BBGIRLS, who announced a new beginning at GLG, released their second single "LOVE 2" in January. "LOVE 2" has been loved for its resurgence on major domestic music charts following "Rollin'."
In addition, it topped the K-pop chart of iTunes Australia and secured a high rank in the top 10 in 10 countries. They also achieved rankings on dance charts, electronic charts, and entered high positions on the Apple Music Korea Dance Chart, receiving a hot response from domestic and international fans.
Meanwhile, BBGIRLS' remake single "Hope," featuring Byeon Jin-seob, will be simultaneously released worldwide at 6 p.m. on the 29th. In addition, BBGIRLS plans to meet fans at their official fan meeting "Missing File 0803" on June 8 at Spigen Hall.
