The group BOYNEXTDOOR has once again made its mark on the American Billboard main album chart, showcasing its strength as 'the hottest team these days.'
According to the latest chart released by the American music media Billboard on 28th (local time) (as of May 31), BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myeongjaehyeon, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak)'s mini album 'No Genre' entered at 62nd on the 'Billboard 200.' This marks BOYNEXTDOOR's fourth consecutive entry into the 'Billboard 200' chart, following mini album 1 'WHY..', mini album 2 'HOW?', and mini album 3 '19.99.'
BOYNEXTDOOR's global popularity is even more pronounced on the sub-charts. 'No Genre' took 2nd place on the 'World Albums' chart and 3rd place on both the 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Album Sales' charts. With this popularity, BOYNEXTDOOR reached 1st place among 'Emerging Artists' and ranked 29th on the 'Artist 100.'
With this activity, BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved 'career highs' in both album and music sales. They recorded sales of 1,166,419 copies (based on Hanteo Chart) in the first week of release (May 13-19) for 'No Genre.' This figure is about 1.5 times higher than the sales of their previous work '19.99' during the same period (759,156 copies).
'No Genre' also topped the Oricon's 'Weekly Album Ranking' and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking' in Japan (aggregating period May 12-18). During the same period, they swept 1st place on Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales' and 'Hot Album,' indicating BOYNEXTDOOR's strong local popularity.
BOYNEXTDOOR will perform at the '2025 Weverse Con Festival' hosted by HYBE. The six members are set to ignite the first night of the festival by rearranging their hit songs into a band version on the evening of the 31st.
