In the midst of Sayuri's update after confessing to financial difficulties on 'Radio Star,' Lee Kyung-sil revealed the reason for cutting ties with her son Son Bo-seung for a year.
In the episode aired on the 28th, MBC's entertainment show 'Radio Star' (hereafter 'RS') featured a special on 'No Backing Down Sisters' with Lee Kyung-sil, Choi Yeo-jin, Lee Ho-sun, and Sayuri.
Earlier, Sayuri mentioned through a show that she experienced financial difficulties after childbirth, stating, 'I earned 1.5 million won a month.' Meanwhile, Sayuri opened up about her feelings regarding Lee Sang-min's marriage after they appeared as a virtual couple on a past entertainment program, saying, 'I felt a bit sad. It felt like my ex-boyfriend had a new girlfriend, and I was unexpectedly hurt.'

Most importantly, on that day, Sayuri confessed that she decided to undergo frozen egg treatment instead of using money for breast augmentation when she had her son Zen. Lee Kyung-sil also opened up about her son, actor Son Bo-seung, who got married after an out-of-wedlock pregnancy at the age of 23. She reflected, 'Four years ago, when I heard about my son's out-of-wedlock pregnancy, it was shocking. I had gone through so much at this age.'
Particularly, Lee Kyung-sil expressed, 'Initially, when my son said he was having a baby, I had no thoughts at all. I really lacked confidence, and my son hadn't even gone to the military, so it was so shocking. I was worried that young people in their early 20s might not be able to handle parenting properly. My son said he heard the baby's heartbeat, so I yelled, 'You can hear your baby's heartbeat, but can't you hear your mom's heart dropping?' At that moment, my feelings were complicated, and that's why I cut ties with my son for a year.'
As time passed, when her grandchild was 100 days old, she called her daughter-in-law to her home. Lee Kyung-sil said, 'When I hugged my daughter-in-law, she cried. I've been treating her well since then.'
