Actor Lee Si-young shared a massage method that can be effective without lifting procedures.
On the 27th, a video titled "12 guaranteed lifting tips! This is a must-save" was uploaded on the 'Ppusi Young' channel.
On that day, Lee Si-young revealed her unique morning massage routine. She explained, "I do this almost every day after waking up. I start by using a guasha on my scalp. I have been to dermatology clinics and have undergone procedures, but I realized that if the scalp is tight and sagging, no matter how much you try to tighten it from here on inside, it is useless. The scalp is skin too. The facial skin extends from here to here, so if you don't loosen this area well, it won't function organically. It has to be flexible. For these areas to tighten and get lifted, relieving the scalp is very important."
First, starting from the hairline, she said, "Even when I'm short on time, I skip the facial massage but really do the scalp every day. And the back of the neck," she explained while demonstrating the massage. She then tapped her scalp and lymph with a comb to build up, before continuing with a scalp massager. Lee Si-young said, "It's not good to massage three times for anything. This is gentle and cool enough that I like it."
Next, pulling out a Theragun, Lee Si-young said, "This one is a bit strong. I set it to the lowest level, stage 1, just enough to touch. You must also massage the center of your chest thoroughly. This area is important. I loosen my chest line entirely. It varies every day. Sometimes I use a guasha, sometimes a Theragun, or apply oil with my hands, or use a device. When using a device, it barely touches. Then there's hardly any stimulation."
After that, Lee Si-young started the face massage. She said, "I rub my ears 50 times to heat them up and then fold them while massaging. It's also good to pull the ears. Whenever I do a facial massage, I always finish by massaging down the neck and shoulder line." She added, "Now I'm going to start the massage. This is my unique method. It's a natural oil that babies use. I apply it all over my face, including my neck and shoulders. I usually apply it even to the armpits. I start by massaging from the eyebrow line up to the forehead."
Lee Si-young said, "I have really seen a lot of results. When I went to Paris, I got a lot of inquiries. People asked what I did to my face. But honestly, I didn't do anything, just this massage, and the results were evident to me. I have never honestly done a thread lifting. I don't like things that remain on the skin and cause damage. I have tried Thermage and Ultherapy, but I only do those. I don't do artificial lifting. I think massage is sufficient."
She stated, "The most important thing is the muscles in the central part. They are the only muscles that move a lot in our face, right? They're called the youthful muscles. If this area sags, everything sags. You get nasolabial folds too. But when the middle muscles rise, everything else lifts too. When you laugh a lot, it hurts a lot here, right? That's a good sign." She then demonstrated the middle part massage, adding, "If you look, hasn't this area lifted? Compared to here. Of course, it drops again after a few minutes. But if you do it daily, the strength builds in the middle area and it maintains. You must do it gently without any stimulation."
Next was eyebrow massage. Lee Si-young said, "Doing it this way makes the eyebrows lift, right? Compared to here. So, the eyes look much cooler. I make sure to do these two every time. You should do them both daily. Honestly, it takes less than 5 minutes. Just loosen the scalp roughly and do the middle part and eyebrows. Doing just that makes the face look really fresh. Everything looks much higher." She concluded by doing a nose massage, neck muscle massage, and neck exercises.
