The 'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2' sees Jun Hyun-moo and Kim Sung-kyun recalling their 'first meeting' 14 years ago in completely different ways, creating an explosive laugh riot.
The 31st episode of the MBN entertainment program 'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2', airing on the 30th, will feature Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) alongside charismatic actor Kim Sung-kyun as they unveil the food trip scene sweeping Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
On this day, Jun Hyun-moo notes, "There's a street known for 70 years of tradition selling cow head soup at Gangneung's central market," and decides to find a local eatery. He adds, "I met the charismatic actress Jin Seo-yeon last week, but today, someone even more intense is coming." Later, Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube meet 'food friend' Kim Sung-kyun at 'Gangneung Hot Place' Wolhwa Street and head straight to the market for him, as he is hungry.
At this location, the three choose a local restaurant famous for its 35 years of tradition offering Hanwoo (Korean beef) boiled meat and soup, as recommended by citizens. Upon tasting the restaurant's signature dish, boiled meat and soup, Kim Sung-kyun exclaims, "Wow, this is real!" and Jun Hyun-moo adds, "You can't get this kind of food in Seoul," enjoying a long-awaited 'face-first' eating show.
After the warm food show, Jun Hyun-moo shares the story of his first meeting with Kim Sung-kyun 14 years ago. He recalls, "Senior Lee Kyung-kyu is close to senior Choi Min-sik, so we went to the 'War Against Crime' film screening together. At that time, I saw Kim Sung-kyun for the first time in the movie, and I thought the director really cast a gangster to ensure the movie's success." He continues, "After the screening, Kim Sung-kyun came up to me and asked, 'You're going to the company dinner, right?' I was so nervous that I ended up going to the dinner."
On the other hand, Kim Sung-kyun mentions, "I was a newcomer back then, but there was such a handsome guy that I thought he was a senior actor," providing a warm contrast to Jun Hyun-moo's version of their first encounter, creating a 'wild party' atmosphere. Meanwhile, Jun Hyun-moo asks Kim Sung-kyun, who is from Daegu, to recite the well-known phrase, "Do you live in Namcheon-dong?" This prompts the two to engage in a 'dialect back-and-forth' that turns the scene lively. However, in the end, Kim Sung-kyun quickly retreats, saying, "But I've lived in Seoul for a long time, so I've forgotten my dialect," making Jun Hyun-moo burst into laughter. The show will air at 9:10 p.m. on the 30th.
