A new 'Harry Potter' trio has been revealed.
On the 27th (local time), Warner Bros. Discovery announced the three main actors of the HBO original TV series 'Harry Potter.' According to the announcement, Dominic MacLoughlin will play Harry Potter, Arabella Stanhope will portray Hermione Granger, and Alasdair Stute has been cast as Ron Weasley.
Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod, co-producers of the drama 'Harry Potter', noted, "The talents of these three actors are truly remarkable. The world will pay attention to the magic they will create together on screen."
The drama 'Harry Potter' is an adaptation of the critically acclaimed British fantasy novel 'Harry Potter', which was also well received as a film. Warner Bros. Discovery conducted auditions last September for children aged 9 to 11 living in the UK and Ireland, resulting in the selection of new protagonists from over 30,000 applicants.
The production team plans to start filming this summer and premiere the first season on HBO Max next year.
