World Human Bridge, an international relief and development NGO led by Kim Byung-sam, visited the wildfire-affected area and provided recovery support funds.
On May 22, World Human Bridge visited the offices of Andong City and Uiseong County to conduct a ceremony for the delivery of recovery support funds and housing supplies for disaster victims due to wildfire damage. They provided 30 million won in recovery support funds to Andong City and delivered 105 TVs for disaster victims in temporary housing. They also delivered 30 million won in recovery support funds to Uiseong County.
A representative from Andong City and Uiseong County who attended the ceremony noted, "There are many households affected by the wildfire in this area, and we are grateful for the helping hands that provided assistance. We will make sure to use the valuable donation effectively."
On that day, Pastor Oh Ho-young from Good Church, who participated in the ceremony with World Human Bridge, stated, "I hope that the pain of the disaster victims will be alleviated even slightly through the valuable donations collected from each individual, and that they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
