In 'Zzanbro', actress Ji Ye-eun recently shared her moments of burnout and tears, resonating with many.
Earlier, Ji Ye-eun also disclosed her struggles on the SBS variety show 'Running Man'. When her close friend Kim Ah-young mentioned, "Ye-eun said she has been tired of the repetitive routine lately," the members expressed concern, asking, "Could it be burnout?" In fact, Ji Ye-eun confessed, "I drink every day lately. I'm soaked in alcohol," and candidly added, "the reason is… it's just that life has no fun," drawing sympathy. However, with support from fans everywhere, the atmosphere shifted. Citizens shouted, "Ye-eun is so beautiful," and, "Fighting!", to which Ji Ye-eun responded with a bright smile, saying, "Thanks to 'Running Man'."
Having confessed her burnout, Ji Ye-eun seemed to share her deep emotional pain with a tearful confession as well. In an episode that aired on the 26th through the 'Zzanbro' channel, Ji Ye-eun said, "Whenever we have a company dinner, I end up crying when I hear about Senior Kim Min-kyo. I don't remember, but I was choked up by the words, 'You're doing well,'" and she noted, "Hearing words of comfort when I am exhausted and struggling made me tear up." Kim Min-kyo warmly supported her, saying, "I can tell when I see Ye-eun. She visibly goes through tough times. Still, it feels both apologetic and admirable to tell her to hang in there."
Moreover, those around her shared honest evaluations: "At first, she didn't seem like someone who would do comedy, but she really works hard," and, "I hoped she would do well, but Joo Hyun-young was too strong, and Kim Ah-young gained attention with her bright-eyed concept." Ji Ye-eun said, "Those words made me feel so small. I thought, 'Maybe I'm not cut out for this,' and during 'SNL Season 3', I would go to the restroom to cry alone every time," adding, "Whenever I had to play a bright character, it was so tough. Each time, I met Suzy unni in the restroom, and if it weren't for her, I really couldn't have endured it," she said, her voice trembling. She continued, "It feels like everyone understands those moments... I'm grateful."
Recently, Ji Ye-eun has been active in 'SNL Korea', 'Zzanbro', and 'Running Man'. Despite the challenging times, many viewers are encouraged by her story of enduring with sincerity and passion, saying, "I want to support her more," and, "She's really funny and truly a wonderful person."
