Actor Kim Jae-wook, known as the epitome of the decadent male, confessed about his anxiety in entertainment shows.
On Nov. 27 at 7 p.m., Kim Jae-wook, who gained the moniker 'decadent male' for his role as the villain 'Mo Tae-goo' in the drama 'Voice' and is currently appearing in the Netflix series 'Dear Hongrang,' was a guest on the cable channel Channel S original program 'Im Won-hee's Culinary Broadcast.'
Im Won-hee expressed gratitude during Kim Jae-wook's appearance, which is rarely seen on entertainment shows, stating, 'It feels refreshing to see Kim Jae-wook in a program where I am the MC.' In response, Kim Jae-wook said, 'I came without hesitation because you called me. We worked on a project together, and we are in the same agency. We often meet in private.' He added, 'It feels strange to see him hosting after only watching him act,' which elicited laughter.
Kim Jae-wook also shared memories of auditioning for 'Akdong Club' during his school days. He said, 'I was in the school band and auditioned upon the teacher's recommendation. The song I sang back then was 'Seosi,' revealing an unexpected musical background.'
As a motorcycle enthusiast, he revealed his affection for Sokcho, Gangneung, and Yangyang, saying, 'I ride during good weather.' Im Won-hee, watching this, lightheartedly remarked, 'It looks like a movie with Kim Jae-wook. Are you possibly interested in taking someone else along?' Kim Jae-wook responded, 'I can give you a ride,' showcasing their bromantic chemistry.
Regarding his appearance on 'Im Won-hee's Culinary Broadcast,' Kim Jae-wook stated, 'I often thought I didn't connect well with entertainment due to my inability to make people laugh, so I declined many offers.' He added, 'However, you made me feel comfortable, so I had fun throughout the filming,' hinting at their strong bond. Im Won-hee remarked, 'I felt once again that Kim Jae-wook is an attractive and warm-hearted person. Despite not having met in a long time, it was not awkward at all,' expressing a deep friendship.
