Channel S "Nidon Naesan Dokbak Tour 4" (co-produced by Channel S and SK Broadband) Hong In-kyu released a good story about Kim Ji-min, the 'future sister-in-law' of Kim Jun-ho, who is set to marry in July.
"Nidon Naesan Dokbak Tour" is a groundbreaking travel variety show where participants pay for their travel expenses out of their own pockets, starting from season 1 in September 2023, which recently completed season 3 with the New Zealand episode. Additionally, it is scheduled to move to Saturday, the 31st, at 9 p.m., ahead of the first broadcast of season 4, where the 'Dokbakz' Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-kyu revealed their expectations for season 4 filled with heightened chemistry.
In this interview, the 'youngest' Hong In-kyu picked Kim Ji-min as the most memorable guest from the 'Dokbak Tour.' He said, "Last year, during the trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Kim Ji-min, who is both a junior and future sister-in-law, joined the 'Dokbakz,' and she watched us struggle. Later, she conveyed to my wife that 'we really went through a lot during the filming of the Dokbak Tour,' which made my wife treat me really well after I returned from the 'Dokbak Tour.'" The 'eldest brother' Kim Dae-hee noted, "I remember the trip to Osaka, Japan, with Choo Sung Hoon, and I also enjoyed the trip to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, where we went with our managers. They had so much fun that it didn't even feel like we were filming a show, which made us very happy too."
Over the past two years, the 'Dokbakz' have traveled to various countries, including Asia and Europe, and they also shared their bucket list and countries they want to visit in season 4. Hong In-kyu expressed, "As much as I admire Son Heung-min, I want to go to England. It would be fun to predict the outcomes of Son Heung-min's team in the 'Dokbak Game' there," he said with excitement. Kim Dae-hee stated, "Someday, I want to visit Iceland. Watching the aurora with the members is a dream of mine," he shared. Yoo Se-yoon, the 'friend of the Dokbakz,' expressed, "I want to try surfing in Hawaii," while Kim Jun-ho, the 'groom of July,' remarked, "The trip for Dae-hee, Dong-min, Se-yoon, and In-kyu is my bucket list," adding, "Wherever the five of us go together, it's fun."
Meanwhile, Kim Dae-hee recalled that during season 3, the 'Dokbakz' burst into tears after giving tuition to the 'beautiful eldest daughter' who was accepted into Y prestigious university, stating about that episode, "It was so moving, and afterward, many friends of the eldest daughter called. The eldest daughter was also grateful to the uncles who gifted her the college tuition." He expressed his gratitude once again for the deep friendship of the 'Dokbakz.'
Jang Dong-min has enhanced the flavor of their travels with dishes such as 'blue mussel jjambbong' introduced in New Zealand and 'beef head stew' carefully made at his home in Gangwon Province. As season 4 approaches, he declared, "In the future, if the members want to eat something, I will make anything without hesitation, whether it's Chinese cuisine or Japanese cuisine," raising expectations. He continued, "I really enjoyed 'camping' during the trip to Mongolia," adding, "I want to realize the romance of camping once more in cold countries," which heightened excitement for season 4.
The first broadcast will air on Channel S at 9 p.m. on the 31st (Saturday).
