Choi Eun-kyung, who has been active on 'Dongchimi' for 13 years, expressed her thoughts on her departure.
The episode of Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary - Dining Table for Four' aired on the 26th, featuring Korea's first foreign comedian, Sam Hammington, and his colleagues, Seo Kyung-seok, Kim Byeong-man, and Park Seong-gwang, visiting his home.
The preview that appeared at the end of the broadcast revealed that broadcaster Choi Eun-kyung, who created a stylish space with a luxurious dining area and even a greenhouse inside the room, has been granted a chance to appear. She invited Kim Sae-rom, Lee Kyung-je, and Kim Young-hee to serve them summer health dishes and had a thorough discussion afterward. The acupuncturist Lee Kyung-je, who was treated, specifically checked the health of his close friends while taking their pulses.
Choi Eun-kyung's health management could not be overlooked. After Pilates and personal training, she recently started Taekwondo, stating that she is a Pilates classmate with Lee Kyung-je. Lee Kyung-je added, 'Every time I do it, my whole body aches. Recently, I was diagnosed with a cervical disc herniation,' which brought laughter.
Additionally, Choi Eun-kyung mentioned the program 'Dongchimi,' which she has hosted for 13 years, saying, 'I truly never once was distracted, took a break, or didn't do my best, even for a second. After giving my all for 13 years, I have no regrets.'
As she continued, Choi Eun-kyung noted, 'I did it without regret. I think I need to take a sabbatical while organizing a bit,' raising curiosity about her upcoming plans.
Meanwhile, Choi Eun-kyung, who had co-hosted MBN's 'Sokpuli Show Dongchimi' with Park Soo-hong since 2012, received notice of her departure due to recent program changes. This was part of the program's major revision to mark its 30th anniversary, but due to the abrupt departure, there were suspicions about a forced exit, as she was unable to deliver a proper farewell.
