Announcer Oh Jung-yeon has transformed into a jazz singer.
On the 27th, Oh Jung-yeon posted several photos on her SNS with the caption "Transforming into a daily jazz singer."
Oh Jung-yeon expressed gratitude, saying, "I practiced the lovely song 'CHEEK TO CHEEK' under the guidance of the legendary figure in our country's jazz scene and soulmate, Teacher Yoon Hee-jung. Although I've been to the Gyeonggi Arts Center many times as an MC, it was my first time singing on stage, so I was extremely nervous, but thanks to the generous and warm audience who applauded me from the beginning of the second verse, I was able to complete the song safely."
Additionally, she recalled, "The lovely violet dress that matched the song really helped me immerse myself in the emotions of the piece. However, there was a flaw; my long-time possession, platform sandals I had worn since the 2014 KBS Entertainment Awards congratulatory performance, unfortunately, had their soles falling apart, dragging along while I sang, which made my movements a bit awkward throughout the performance."
She also recalled, "Still, while mourning the sandals that had endured for over 10 years, I found a video from 11 years ago and thought, 'I was so young then.'"
In the photos released alongside the announcement, Oh Jung-yeon is seen wearing a lavender dress, flashing a bright smile at the camera in the waiting room.
The asymmetric dress that reveals her shoulders and its draping design exudes an elegant atmosphere, harmonizing with the purple bouquet placed beside her. The gorgeous drop earrings and neat hairstyle complete her graceful mood.
Especially at the age of 42 this year, Oh Jung-yeon drew admiration with her youthful looks and solid body line.
Meanwhile, Oh Jung-yeon, who joined KBS as a 32nd generation announcer, has been active as a freelancer since leaving KBS in 2015. She married Seo Jang-hoon in 2009 but divorced in 2012, just three years later. Since then, she has been living as a single person for over 10 years.
