On the 27th, Gojiyong shared on his social account, "The director here really does all dermatological procedures well!" revealing a photo of his visit to a plastic surgery clinic located in Gangnam.
In the photo, Gojiyong is seen wearing jeans, a denim shirt, and a sweatshirt, smiling brightly while wearing sunglasses. He drew attention with a comparatively healthier look after previously appearing significantly thinner due to health issues.
Gojiyong was captured in a drastically thinner appearance in 2023, leading to concerns about his health. At that time, he clarified that there were no health issues, but he later disclosed on the KBS2 program "Salrimhanun Namjadeul 2," aired on the 17th, that he had been hospitalized two years ago.
He noted, "Overall, my liver function had declined, and my liver levels had rapidly risen, which led to hospitalization," revealing that his weight had dropped to 64 kg at a height of 180 cm, nearing cirrhosis. He shared that, on the doctor's advice, he refrained from drinking for six months and recovered his health.
Meanwhile, Gojiyong married doctor Heo Yang-im in 2013 and has a son. After debuting as a member of Sechs Kies in 1997 and leaving the entertainment industry after their disbandment, he had been working as a businessman. He stated, "After I became ill, I developed an interest in diet and started a restaurant business," currently operating a shabu-shabu restaurant in Asan, Chungnam.
