It has been three years since comedian Im Jun-hyuk passed away. Today (27th) marks his third anniversary.
Im Jun-hyuk unexpectedly passed away from a myocardial infarction at his home on May 27, 2022, at the age of 42. He had no chronic illnesses, and until four days before his death, he appeared on 'The Trot Show,' showcasing a healthy appearance, so the sudden news of his passing shocked many.
Debuting as a comedian in 2003 through the MBC 14th open recruitment, Im Jun-hyuk gained public affection through shows such as 'Comedy House' and 'People Looking for Laughter.' In particular, he gained great popularity through the 'LTE News' corner of 'People Looking for Laughter' in partnership with Kang Sung-bum.
He was also recognized for his outstanding singing ability. He showcased his singing talent by appearing on Mnet's 'You Can See My Voice 5,' and just before his death, he attempted to start music activities by forming a project team with singer-actor Il-min and comedian Oh Jung-tae, releasing the song 'Love's Badge.'
After Im Jun-hyuk's death, singer Nabi tagged his Instagram, expressing her feelings with the words, "Thank you. I will miss you a lot. This is the last photo we took together."
The deceased is resting in Janan Memorial Park. It has been three years since he suddenly left his loved ones, but many colleagues and fans still pray for his soul.
