Gong Myoung has finally revealed the backstory behind his past distance from Choi Soo-young.
In the fifth episode of the tvN drama 'Second Shot at Love' aired yesterday (26th), the moment when Seo Ui-jun (played by Gong Myoung) confessed that he had kept his distance from Han Geum-joo (played by Choi Soo-young) because he liked her too much was portrayed, leading to a change in their relationship.

Ultimately, she succeeded in escaping these invitations with a bombshell statement that "if I drink alcohol, I could really die," which brought the atmosphere to a sudden silence.
However, the crisis did not end there. After escaping from the dinner, Kim Soo-seok made a rude remark asking Han Geum-joo if she was pregnant, and even attempted to touch her belly, claiming he could feel the baby moving. Meanwhile, in the epilogue, an unidentified man broke into Seo Ui-jun's house, heightening the tension. He discovered a necklace and a note that Seo Ui-jun had intended to give to Han Geum-joo in the drawer, murmuring her name and creating a suspicious atmosphere.
