The agency Blitzway, which includes actor Ju Jihoon, has taken strong measures regarding fraudulent acts impersonating its representatives.
On the 27th, Blitzway Entertainment released an official statement, saying, "Recently, there have been cases where our company or affiliated actors have been impersonated to seek financial gain, and we urge caution."
The agency mentioned, "There are attempts to pose as representatives or managers of Blitzway-affiliated actors to demand money or charge expenses under specific pretexts," adding that "Blitzway Entertainment does not engage in any actions to demand money in this way, and all such requests are illegal actions resulting from impersonation."
It added, "If you receive similar contacts, please do not respond and report them immediately to the police or relevant authorities. We are continuously monitoring to prevent damage to our fans and stakeholders, and we are responding strongly to impersonation and fraud, including reporting to the police."
Previously, individuals including singer Song Gain, Lee Sugeun, Lim Young-woong, Jang Min-ho, and Ahn Jae-wook, as well as companies like Baro Entertainment, 935 Entertainment, and Workhouse Company, have suffered from fraudulent acts such as no-shows where their employees were impersonated. Moreover, entertainment programs like 'It's Delicious,' hosted by Sung Si-kyung, and SBS's 'Running Man' have also become targets of impersonation. In response, each agency is urging caution to prevent further damage and is taking legal action against impersonators.
Meanwhile, Blitzway Entertainment includes actors In Gyo-jin, Jung Ryeo-won, Ju Jihoon, So Yi-hyun, Moon Chae-won, Son Dam-bi, Han Bo-reum, Chun Woo-hee, Park Ha-sun, Yoon Park, and Red Velvet's Yeri (Kim Ye-rim).
