An Jae-Hong mentioned his kiss scene with Yoo Ah-In.
On the 26th, at CGV Yongsan I Park Mall in Seoul, a press screening and press conference for the movie 'Hi Five' (directed by Kang Hyung-Cheol, distributed by NEW, produced by Annapurna Film) was held. Attendees included director Kang Hyung-Cheol, actors Lee Jae-In, An Jae-Hong, Ra Mi-Ran, Kim Hee-Won, Oh Jung-Se, and Park Jin-Young.
The film 'Hi Five', set to be released domestically on May 30 (Friday), tells the story of five individuals who accidentally gain different superpowers through organ transplants and their encounters with those who covet their abilities.
An Jae-Hong plays the aspiring writer 'Ji-Sung' who deduces the existence of another superpowered individual. He noted, "The script itself had a well-crafted rhythm, and I think the chemistry emerged naturally while we were breathing and doing the back-and-forth exchanges."
An Jae-Hong also expressed his feelings about meeting Ra Mi-Ran again after their 'Reply 1988' mother-son relationship. He said, "I believe the chemistry with Mi-Ran sunbae was the best. I was very happy to feel the energy that only Mi-Ran sunbae has, which I felt during 'Reply 1988' again; it was a dreamlike time. Whenever I was with sunbae in each scene, just being together felt very reassuring."
In response, Ra Mi-Ran also joked, "Time has passed, and my son has been through several mothers, and I have also gone through several sons. My time flows backward, so in this work, I'm a 'Miss.' Please call me the fresh manager instead of the yogurt lady. Now my son is getting older, and I have rejuvenated, so I would appreciate it if you think of us as siblings. I hope you will show new aspects rather than the previous ones in our movie."
In particular, An Jae-Hong showcased a fiery kiss scene with Yoo Ah-In, who plays the hipster bum 'Gi-Dong,' able to control all electronic devices with a single finger snap.
Regarding this, An Jae-Hong said, "The scene with Gi-Dong was a moment where the teams that had been in conflict and sharpening their wits became one, so I approached it with that mindset," drawing laughter.
