Comedian Ji Ye-eun, who is currently appearing on 'Jjanhan-hyung,' recently spoke about the controversy regarding the facial expressions from the Baeksang Arts Awards that has stirred discussions online.
A video titled 'Kim Min-kyu Ji Ye-eun Kim Won-hoon {Jjanhan-hyung} EP. 94 After drinking, I shot a live-action version of SNL! Sassy + 2x9 full combo' was posted on the YouTube channel of Shin Dong-yeob's Jjanhan-hyung, which aired on the 26th.
During the broadcast, Ji Ye-eun said, "I heard that it was said I cried because I didn't win an award at the Baeksang, but in reality, I was so moved to see Suzy receiving an award that I cried." She continued, "I didn't expect to win an award at all; I was just very happy to attend," adding, "Rather, my bigger goal was to take nice photos. The photos turned out well," she joked.
The other cast members present at the scene also applauded, saying, "Ji Ye-eun truly congratulated her senior. She has a beautiful heart."
Additionally, Ji Ye-eun attracted attention with her dramatically changed appearance after dieting. Everyone commented, "Now that Ye-eun has lost weight, she looks like a celebrity," and "She used to have a cute charm, but she has definitely changed." Ji Ye-eun laughed in response, saying, "Why is there such a fuss about me losing weight? They all said I was too overweight before." Kim Won-hoon expressed surprise, saying, "She used to have a cute charm, but now she really looks like a celebrity," and Ji Ye-eun replied, "I was always cute; I feel good to hear that I look like a celebrity."
Ji Ye-eun has been gaining public attention for her witty remarks and immersive performances through tvN's 'SNL Korea' and Coupang Play's 'Jjanhan-hyung.'
