Actress Hwang Jung-eum finalized her legal marriage with former professional golfer Lee Yong-don after completing divorce mediation proceedings.
On the 26th, her agency, Y1 Entertainment, stated in an official position, "As of May 26, 2025, Hwang Jung-eum's divorce lawsuit has been amicably concluded with the family court's mediation decision confirmed," and noted, "Thus, the divorce has been officially established."
Previously, Hwang Jung-eum stood at the center of divorce-related issues again on May 23 due to reports of a real estate attachment. In response, the agency explained, "The attachment is a property preservation measure that both parties enacted against each other during the process of organizing joint property while in the divorce lawsuit. It is a matter that can commonly arise during divorce proceedings, and now that the divorce lawsuit has concluded, the attachment will be lifted."

Hwang Jung-eum ended her marital relationship after reaching an agreement through court mediation following two attempts at divorce mediation with her former husband.
