JYP Entertainment's girl group NiziU released their Japanese digital EP 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.) / Shining day' today (26th).
NiziU showcased the Japanese digital EP 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.) / Shining day' at midnight on the 26th. Two days before the release, at midnight on the 24th, they pre-released the title track 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.)' audio and performance video to build excitement, and that afternoon, they granted a stage on the NHK music program 'Venue101,' captivating viewers with their bright and lovely energy.
The new album includes two tracks: the title track 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.)' and 'Shining day.' 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.)' is the Japanese version of the title track 'LOVE LINE (운명선),' released on March 31, and features lyrics themed around '운명선,' distinctive sound, and NiziU's signature high-pitched vocals. 'Shining day' is an insert song for the cosmetics brand 'suisai' advertisement, which NiziU granted attention to, and has a refreshing vibe that boosts confidence just by listening to it.
Officially debuting in Japan in December 2020, NiziU has since dominated major music charts such as Oricon and Billboard Japan, solidifying their position as a 'top girl group.' In October 2023, they made their official domestic debut with the Korean single 'Press Play' and the title track 'HEARTRIS,' and returned domestically in March this year with their second single 'LOVE LINE' after about 1 year and 5 months. They notably reaffirmed their popularity by taking the number one spot on music broadcasts just nine days after their comeback with the title track 'LOVE LINE (운명선).'
Meanwhile, NiziU will hold their first solo fan concert in Hong Kong on June 21 and will continue their global activities. Starting in September, they will embark on a new tour 'NiziU Live with U 2025' and 'NiziU Live with U 2026' across a total of 21 cities in Japan. Expectations are rising for NiziU's activities as they expand their influence in the hearts of domestic and international fans with warm emotions and exciting music.
