The actor Jin Seo-yeon, as seen in 'Jun Hyun-moo Project 2,' revealed her deep love for her husband.
On the 23rd, 'Jun Hyun-moo Project 2' aired on MBN and Channel S, featuring Jun Hyun-moo, Kwak Tube, and Jin Seo-yeon as eating buddies.
Since the 1970s, Jin Seo-yeon's grandmother, father, and mother have run a tofu factory in Gangneung and started a sundubu (soft tofu) shop in the 2010s; they first ordered chodu-bu (fresh tofu) and sundubu-jeongol (soft tofu hot pot). Kwak Tube noted, "I wanted to add soy sauce, but the sundubu has this really nutty flavor, like eating nurungji (scorched rice)."
The owner said, "It's called a beef clam, known here as a 'jjaebok' clam, and it goes into the sundubu jeongol," providing another tip. Jin Seo-yeon remarked, "I don't usually eat strong flavors, so the Cheongyang pepper makes it a bit spicy," while still showing that she was enjoying the meal.
Kwak Tube stated, "I actually dislike healthy food. It makes my stomach feel bad. I often diet, eating only one meal a day," while Jin Seo-yeon added, "I eat natto, peeling about three packs. I mix just the yolk in and then add some chopped kimchi, eating it like bibimbap; however, I don't eat rice." After giving birth, Jin Seo-yeon lost 28 kg in 40 days and mentioned that she doesn't use the rice truck at the filming site.
The next spontaneous stop was a seafood restaurant in Gangneung. The owner personally catches fish like East Sea rockfish, songi (flatfish), and flounder early in the morning, providing truly wild catches.
The owner said, "Sometimes the wild fish are caught just the day before. If you order assorted raw fish, we provide a set. I personally catch it to minimize costs."
Even Jin Seo-yeon, who doesn't usually enjoy strong flavors, was completely taken in by the restaurant's unique ssamjang ( dipping sauce). Jun Hyun-moo exclaimed, "This ssamjang is amazing. It's incredibly delicious," and recommended, "Those running a seafood restaurant should definitely try it. After making ssamjang with grains, adding green chili and minced garlic is the best combination." Jin Seo-yeon applauded and said, "This combination is really top-notch!"
Suddenly, Jin Seo-yeon recalled her past by saying, "It was tough making a living, so I never had a break from part-time jobs while training to be an actor. I earned a lot of money since high school working at gas stations, selling rice cakes, and running a shopping mall. Our shopping mall was ranked third nationwide. It was high in search rankings, but buying items from Dongdaemun wasn't fulfilling at all."
However, money didn't bring him happiness. Jin Seo-yeon ultimately committed to the acting path. Jun Hyun-moo cautiously asked, "Doesn't it wear on your family if you play only intense roles?" Jin Seo-yeon replied, "Actually, 'Drug King' had nudity involved. Yet my husband encouraged me by saying, 'This is a remarkable role. You must take it,' indicating it didn't bother him at all."
Furthermore, Jin Seo-yeon revealed that she registered her marriage with her husband just three months after they met, surprising everyone by stating that their first encounter involved dancing at a club to size each other up.
