The group BOYNEXTDOOR lifted their first music show trophy after their comeback.
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Ryu, Myeongjaehyeon, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak) won first place with the title track 'I Feel Good' from their mini album 'No Genre' on Mnet's 'M Countdown,' which aired on the 22nd.
BOYNEXTDOOR expressed their gratitude in an emotional voice, saying, "I thank ONEDOOR (the fandom name) for this award. We will strive to be artists who show good music and great stages that repay the love you give us in the future."
In particular, on this day, BOYNEXTDOOR amplified their joy by performing an encore stage as a complete group alongside Myeongjaehyeon, who is actively serving as the MC of 'M Countdown.' They topped 'M Countdown' in January with 'I LOVE YOU Today,' but at that time, Myeongjaehyeon soloed the encore stage since it was after their official activity ended, attracting attention.
BOYNEXTDOOR is achieving good results with 'No Genre,' which was released on the 13th. The album recorded 1,166,419 copies sold in the first week according to the Hanteo chart. Additionally, it secured first place on the Circle Chart weekly album chart (aggregation period May 11–18) based solely on five days of sales.
The title track 'I Feel Good' entered the Circle Chart's weekly download chart at 5th place during the same period. Furthermore, all other tracks such as '123-78,' 'Step by Step,' 'Are You Playing With Me?,' and 'Next Mistake' also ranked high on the chart, confirming that the entire album is receiving much love.
BOYNEXTDOOR is also sailing smoothly in Japan. Following their 1st place on the Billboard Japan 'Top Album Sales' (aggregation period May 12–18) the previous day, they topped the comprehensive album chart 'Hot Albums' (aggregation period May 12–18) announced on the 22nd.
Thanks to this popularity, BOYNEXTDOOR ranked 4th on the 'Artist 100' chart during the same period, while Myeongjaehyeon, Taesan, and Unhak, who participated in the song production of 'I Feel Good,' found their names on the 'Hot 100 Songwriters' and 'Hot 100 Composers' lists.
