Hwang In-hyuk, who became a shaman on 'Exclusive World', revealed the reason for living alone away from his family.
On the 22nd, MBN's 'Exclusive World' aired updates on actor Hwang In-hyuk.
Hwang In-hyuk, who has been walking the path of a shaman for 26 years, moved from Seoul to Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, seven years ago to establish a base. Hwang In-hyuk, known as the shaman of shamans, explained, "I do everything for those who are possessed. They have tried everything, including visiting hospitals and consulting other shamans. Many come to me as their last resort."
Hwang In-hyuk, who entered the entertainment industry as an advertising model in the past, said he transitioned to acting. Hwang In-hyuk noted, "This was 25 or 26 years ago; when I lay down to sleep, a general and a grim reaper used to appear and stand before me. I even went to a mental hospital. I wanted to die. It was so painful. I felt sorry for my parents." He revealed this as the reason for walking the path of a shaman.
Hwang In-hyuk, who is a father of one son and one daughter, explained that the reason he lives apart from his family is that he doesn't want to hurt his children. Hwang In-hyuk recalled, "An incident occurred when my eldest daughter was young. (The shaman daughter) said to not let our daughter play with her. It caused a commotion, with rumors spreading all over the neighborhood, leading us to move."
