The band Dickpunks (DPNS) proves its limitless genre adaptability.
Dickpunks (Kim Tae-hyun, Kim Jae-heung, Kim Hyun-woo, Park Ga-ram) will release the second chapter of their EP series 'Spectra: RGB' titled 'Spectra: G' today (22nd) through various online music sites.
'Spectra: G' is an album that paints vivid pictorial images through Dickpunks' broad sound palette, featuring a total of two tracks, including the title song 'Flashback' and 'Below the Stars.'
The title song 'Flashback' expresses the nostalgia of youth, maximizing a wistful emotion with a rich sound and restrained vocals in contrast. The retro rose electric piano, guitar, and stable rhythm instruments harmonize to complete the lyrical melody.
'Below the Stars,' written and composed by Kim Hyun-woo, depicts the pinnacle of love that swells beneath the starlight. It expresses love that cannot be concealed like a sneeze with a variety of instruments, capturing an exploding sense of happiness with straightforward vocals and witty choruses.
On the 21st, Dickpunks released the second music video teaser for the title song 'Flashback' through their official social media channels, hinting at different music from the past. The calm atmosphere of the teaser video includes the phrase, "In search of something great, I wandered like a cloud / Now only regrets that cannot be reversed remain," raising curiosity about the message they intend to convey.
Since the release of the first track 'Light Up' last month, Dickpunks has been expanding its musical spectrum and depth through the three-part EP series 'Spectra: RGB.' Attention is focused on Dickpunks' new release, which spreads positive energy to listeners through various stages such as broadcasts, performances, and festivals.
Meanwhile, the second chapter of Dickpunks' EP series 'Spectra: RGB' titled 'Spectra: G' will be released on the 22nd at 6 p.m. through various online music sites.
