On the 21st, on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' actress Sunwoo Yong-yeo appeared as a guest and shared the story of how she came to bear the 20 billion won debt.
Sunwoo Yong-yeo noted, "The reason I want to live well is so that I don't have to go to the hospital and don't get sick. If I get sick, it becomes a burden for my son and daughter," drawing attention.
Sunwoo Yong-yeo said she majored in ballet in the past. Sunwoo Yong-yeo remarked, "I went to perform Swan Lake, but everyone else had swan legs, while I had duck legs. Yong-yeo's strength is her ability to grasp themes. I realized I wasn't a dancer."
Sunwoo Yong-yeo expressed a desire to become a diplomat. Then, she notably dropped out. She added, "My sister advised me to enter the Department of Theatre and Film at Seorabeol University."
Sunwoo Yong-yeo said, "At that time, TBC Broadcasting Station was established. The professor said that even if I entered as a dancer, I would do drama. Chairman Lee Byung-chul was the judge at that time." She went on to say that she became the top student, surprising those around her by announcing she debuted as the first generation dancer at TBC.
Sunwoo Yong-yeo stated that she married her husband at the age of 23. She said, "My husband used to place flowers on my photo once a week. But I disliked them because the flowers would wither. He would say he lives for me," and added, "I can't meet anyone like my caring and charismatic husband."
Sunwoo Yong-yeo surprised those around her by saying that her husband did not show up on their wedding day. She said, "My husband lost his father when he was 18. He regarded his sister's father-in-law as a father figure. That person borrowed 17.5 million won for campaign expenses to run for the National Assembly, and it was said that her husband promised to pay that back."
Sunwoo Yong-yeo remarked, "On the wedding day, my husband was taken away. He told me to sign. I signed then. Now that I think about it, it seems like a debt guarantee," noting that the 17.5 million won at that time is worth 20 billion won today. Ultimately, Sunwoo Yong-yeo said she worked tirelessly and paid off all that debt.
