Comprehensive content production company RBW (RBW Co., Ltd., 361570) has entered into a strategic copyright collaboration with China's leading music platform NetEase Cloud Music (NetEase Cloud Music, Wangyi Yun Music), paving a new chapter in Korea-China music exchange.
RBW will exclusively provide the music of its affiliated artists on NetEase Cloud Music through this agreement, standing at the forefront of K-POP's global expansion. All tracks by Mamamoo, ONEUS, ENHYPEN, and Purple Kiss, along with solo tracks by Solar and Moonbyul, have already been released, and future new songs are also expected to be distributed in an exclusive pre-release format.
This partnership is regarded as a meaningful attempt to strengthen cooperation and exchange in the music industry between South Korea and China, going beyond mere music distribution. In particular, RBW has established this partnership based on cultural trust and communication between the two countries, underlining strategic direction and long-term collaboration.
NetEase Cloud Music is a local leading music platform in China with over 200 million monthly active users (MAU), exerting a strong influence primarily among the younger generation from the 90s and 00s. This collaboration is expected to be an important opportunity to widen the point of contact with consumers wanting K-POP content in China.
A RBW official noted, "Collaboration with NetEase Cloud Music is not just a simple copyright agreement but a strategic partnership based on trust. We will strengthen the competitiveness of K-POP content through various forms of cooperation in the future."
As of March 2025, RBW and its subsidiaries such as DSP Media possess approximately 8,500 music copyrights and related rights (IPs), and are actively developing global content production and distribution businesses based on this.
