Shin Si A from 'Resident Playbook' expressed her immense gratitude towards her seniors from 'Hospital Playlist.'
On the 20th, Shin Si A responded during an interview for the finale of the tvN weekend drama 'Resident Playbook' held at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul, to the comment, "Cameo appearances from the seniors of 'Hospital Playlist' must have been reassuring," saying, "I couldn't sleep the night before filming because I knew the seniors were coming. I was nervous and excited and thought, 'I have come to Yulje Medical Center and entered the world of 'Hospital Playlist.'"
The recently concluded 'Resident Playbook' featured cameo appearances from actors of 'Hospital Playlist,' starting with Ahn Eun-jin, including Jung Kyung-ho, Jo Jung-seok, Jeon Mi-do, Kim Dae-myung, Moon Tae-yu, Ha Yoon-kyung, Jung Moon-sung, and Shin Hyun-bin. This was because 'Resident Playbook' is a spin-off version expanding the universe of 'Hospital Playlist,' created by Shin Won-ho. Playing the role of Byun Nam-kyung, a first-year obstetrics resident, Shin Si A completed a touching chemistry with Kim Dae-myung, who plays Yang Seok-hyung, in the final episode.
Shin Si A smiled and said, "I learned a lot every time I met the seniors. I absorbed how to express this text and how this scene comes out." Regarding Kim Dae-myung, she noted, "He was the essence of Professor Yang Seok-hyung. From the moment I entered the emergency room, he was supportive, and just being there gave me comfort and a good influence. He looked out for me a lot."
Meanwhile, Shin Si A captured the public's attention by landing the lead role in the film 'The Witch (魔女) Part2. The Other One,' after overcoming an audition with a 1,408:1 competition rate. Following this, she filmed both 'Resident Playbook' and the movie 'The Old Woman with the Knife' simultaneously, making a mark on both screen and television. She is currently filming her next project.
