Actress Yum Jung-ah has become the wife of a general hospital director.
On the 20th, the city of Hwaseong in Gyeonggi Province held a ceremony to celebrate the elevation of Hwaseong Yuil Hospital to a general hospital. Hwaseong Yuil Hospital is where Yum Jung-ah's husband, Heo Il, serves as the director.
In this regard, Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun introduced it through his official SNS, saying it is "the second general hospital in the western part of Hwaseong." He also posted a photo taken with Yum Jung-ah and Heo Il.
Mayor Jeong also noted, "The western part of Hwaseong has lacked medical infrastructure compared to its large area, having only one general hospital, causing many citizens to experience discomfort and anxiety. Today, I attended the 'Hwaseong Yuil Hospital elevation ceremony' to help resolve this regional medical gap." He added, "Since its opening in 2019, Hwaseong Yuil Hospital has become one of the representative hospitals in the western region, operating a total of 12 departments, including obstetrics and gynecology, which began service on Feb. 3 this year, and is firmly responsible for the health of the western part of Hwaseong."
Yum Jung-ah married the one-year-older doctor Heo Il in 2006. The couple has raised one son and one daughter.
Additionally, Yum Jung-ah continues to be active as an actress even after marriage and childbirth. Recently, she has been meeting viewers through the tvN entertainment program "Fresh off the Sea: Season 2."
