On the 20th, Lee Kwang-ki stated to OSEN, "It is true that my daughter (Lee Yeon-ji) will marry player Jung Woo-young this June." According to Lee, his daughter and Jung developed a romantic relationship after meeting at a gathering of acquaintances and will marry after dating for about a year.
With this, Lee Kwang-ki will also have a son-in-law who is a former national team footballer. Jung Woo-young is a player belonging to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga and won the men's gold medal in football at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023.
