The group i-dle announced their commitment for ranking first on music shows.
i-dle (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Woori, Shuhua) held a live broadcast commemorating the release of their mini album 'We are' which was revealed on their official YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 19th.
During the live broadcast, i-dle shared the behind-the-scenes stories of their new album while listening to the track from 'We are' with fans. Soyeon noted, "The title track 'Good Thing' originally had about three hook candidates," revealing the behind-the-scenes production, and the members taught fans the 'Good Thing' dance challenge, introducing it as choreography that anyone can easily follow.
i-dle also provided commentary on the music video for 'Good Thing' alongside the album unboxing. Notably, 'We are' is an album in which all members participated in writing and composing for the first time since their debut, showcasing each member's individuality and style strongly throughout the songs. They made a special commitment that if they rank first on music shows, Woori will sing all the parts.
Additionally, the members heightened expectations ahead of their 'Good Thing' activities. Shuhua encouraged fans by saying, "'Good Thing' has fun choreography, and the challenge is easy, so let's dance together," while Soyeon expressed affection by saying, "Please show a lot of love for 'Good Thing.'" Woori added, "Don't you want to hear me sing 'Good Thing' from start to finish? I've worked hard to prepare it, so please look forward to it," reinforcing their commitment for ranking first.
Following that, Miyeon added, "I have a lot of excitement and anticipation for this long-awaited comeback. Since this album is more meaningful because it was prepared together, I hope you will love it."
