Actor Yoo Seung-ho conveyed a warm heart for children with serious illnesses and their families.
According to his agency 333 on the 20th, Yoo Seung-ho donated 10 million won to RMHC Korea in celebration of Family Month. RMHC Korea is a global nonprofit organization responsible for the establishment and operation of the hospital-adjacent shelter 'Ronald McDonald House' where seriously ill children and their families can stay together during treatment.
The donation will be used to provide a comfortable home for families of more children with serious illnesses to focus on long-term outpatient treatment, including the construction of a new house in the metropolitan area.
Earlier, in April, Yoo Seung-ho personally visited the Ronald McDonald House located in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, where he took a tour of the facility and delivered sincere encouragement and gifts to the children and their families, showing genuine commitment.
Yoo Seung-ho said, "I am grateful to be able to share the deep love I have received from many people for a long time meaningfully," and added, "I joined this sharing with the hope that children can lessen their pain in the warm embrace of their families and receive treatment without worry in a caring space. I hope to be a small source of hope and courage for the children as they move toward their dreams."
Additionally, Yoo Seung-ho has been selected as the ambassador for the '2025 McDonald's Happy Walk' scheduled for the 25th, where he will walk with participant families in line with the event's purpose of donating each step taken, continuing to exert positive influence. All registration fees from the event, including Yoo Seung-ho's donation, will be donated to RMHC Korea for the treatment and support of children and their families.
Meanwhile, Yoo Seung-ho is delivering a passionate and intense performance in the role of Brutus, who betrays his friend for the ideals of the Republic, in the play 'Killing Caesar.'
The play 'Killing Caesar,' which reinterprets Shakespeare's classic 'Julius Caesar,' can be seen at the Mary Hall Grand Theater of Sogang University until July 20.
