Trot singer Cheon Nok-dam shared his current situation of being separated from his wife.
On the 20th, guests who took the title of Jin-Seon-Mi (眞善美) at 'Mr. Trot 3,' Shin Yong-bin, Son Bin-a, and Cheon Nok-dam, appeared in the 'Tuesday Invite' segment of KBS1's 'Morning Yard.'
Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-a, and Cheon Nok-dam, who evoked memories of the late Hyun-chul while singing 'Bongsunhwa Yeonjeong,' noted, 'The three of us sang the song of Teacher Hyun-chul earlier. And it feels like fate that we have become Jin-Seon-Mi.' Currently on a national tour, the three expressed gratitude, saying, 'There are still more than 17 venues left. We plan to return to Seoul for an encore performance in September, and thankfully, tickets are sold out.' Although the three are currently suffering from a cold, they promised to safely complete the national tour, citing the strength they receive from the audience.
Cheon Nok-dam said, 'Nine out of ten people recognize me as Cheon Nok-dam. I've been active for a long time, but before 'Mr. Trot 3,' even if they recognized me, they were hesitant to approach me. However, now that I'm active as Cheon Nok-dam, I'm grateful that many come up to me first. The age group of my fans has also risen. Sisters in their 50s to 70s have shown they like me.'
Currently residing in Jeju Island, Cheon Nok-dam is busy with activities. He stated, 'I can hardly go there. It's like a long-distance marriage. My wife is in Jeju, so it seems I need to move to Seoul. I guess I need to bring her here.'
